PROPOSAL STORY

Our proposal story takes place in October 2023, Noosa Queensland. Now lets paint the picture here, it’s 28 degrees (thats roughly in the 80s for the Americans) and Brian has left the house with a very tightly wrapped sweatshirt in his hand. Nicole’s spidey senses had been alerted earlier that day when Brian specifically told her not to wear activewear on a walk they were doing in the afternoon...hmm as a detectives daughter she knew something was up. That thought very quickly dissipated when the drive to Noosa caused Nicole to get so car sick she needed something to ease her stomach before the walk. Brian pulled her into a Bar knowing a gin and soda would do the trick.

The bartender, unaware of Brian’s time schedule, started talking Nicole through the floral and herbaceous notes we might find in certain gins. Nicole being Nicole was miss chatty cathy and was actively interested in what was being presented. Brian had to shut him down very quickly, he was already behind time. The bartender swiftly made two gins and sodas, both with a grapefruit wedge.

Car sickness gone, they were off for their walk. Nicole had settled on a black lycra full length dress as this walk had been pitched as ‘only 5 minutes’ ...that was total bullshit. It was a 20 minute walk and Brian was on a mission. Nicoles dress was riding so far up she eventually gave up on pulling it down and focused on keeping pace.

They get to the view and Nicole spots the picnic Brian has organised. They both start to well up knowing what was about to happen. Nicole realises she needs to pull her dress down, it had risen up above her knees and was no longer full length. As she pulled it down, her underwear went right down with it! (it was a real panty dropping moment) Brian, teary eyed and no longer clutching his sweatshirt, but a small black box, smiles at her and says I love you so much, Will you Marry me?

Nicole, while trying to pull her knickers up, notices that there is grapefruit from that damn gin and soda in Brians teeth!!!

she said ‘Oh no, not like this’ and proceeded to pick said grapefruit out of his teeth.

Needless to say, she still says YES and the rest is history, Now its time to start our future

Nicole’s parents will be hosting welcome drinks for any of the wedding guests that would like to join us for some light boozing and a boogie. There will be Live music, Yard games and of course Food & Booze.

Following the ceremony, there will be a cocktail hour with drinks and canapes so yall can get lit before the recption, so DRINK UP, its free!

Nuthin’ like the hair of the dog. If you’re anything like Brian (lol) you will of course be able to back it up on Sunday. Nothing too fancy, but we will be heading down to Glasshouse in Manly for some sunset drinks by the water. The following day is a public holiday in Aus,
